Sometimes writing plans on the internet makes me more likely to complete them.
to complete my first pattern by the Friday after this one! At the latest.
Then I plan
to complete some side-projects I've been ignoring (most glaringly I have an epic Bob Dylan mix tape to finish compiling, and I promised to make someone a rabbit last summer and still haven't finished). Also do another Asmo comic- I've had one in the wings for months and should actually make it before I lose the plot entirely.
THEN I plan
to do the dwarven helm pattern. For serious.
In other news, I've been hanging out on
lately, and it is awesome. I am a lonely hermit whose nearest friend is 106 miles away (I looked this up on Google maps, it is a fact), but now I have a bunch of digital people I can hang out with! And they are almost as enthusiastic about crafting as I am, so I don't scare them like I scare regular people.
In other, other news, I have a website! SadDaysCrochet.com! But it isn't finished. When it's finished I will make a huge announcement. Heck, when any individual part of it is finished I will announce. For now you can go there if you want, but it won't do much more than link you to my other pages and give you a couple of sample pictures of space (courtesy of my web designer). I have a great many plans for it, but revealing them now will just make it less interesting when they are ready.
Oh, and I've been feeling generally less awful than I was a while ago, so that's nice. I've been able to get things done and spend less time cursing everything. I even helped planting vegetables at the weekend! Although my sense of time seems to be slipping even more than usual... I'm not sure what happened to last week, but it was very short.
