These are actually a re-make of some gloves I made when I first learnt to crochet. They were terrible the first time I made them, so I never wore them. But I loved the yarn! When I moved in October I had no yarn, so I dug them out of a box, un-made them and re-crocheted them to stop myself going crazy from being without crochet. Much better now! And I added a miscellaneous collection of metal buttons. They jingle ever so slightly! And I wear them often.
I really like that wooden mannequin hand. Took me ages to find one! Haven't used it as much as I'd like.
Those are very nice, what a good idea with the buttons! I have to tell you, I was exhausted last night so I tried crocheting lying down, like you do, but it killed my arms! Well done on still managing to make such gorgeous things WHILE lying down!!
I'm afraid I have been developing useless muscles only- I can crochet lying down for hours now, but I can't climb trees like I used to, or lift things, and I'd be rubbish in a fist fight. (Hopefully I won't be getting in any fist fights though...)
It's quite a bit bigger than my hand, so I was a little worried the glove wouldn't fit! By pulling it on from the wrist side I made it go on though. I love having photo props! They're great if you don't have any friends around to pose or take pictures.
